A sleek, minimalistic but just as stylish take on our Chunky Black X Legs Dining Table Set. These slightly thinner X Legs give a really modern look that perfectly compliments the rustic and natural grain of our handcrafted solid wood table tops.
With this minimalist version, you will still find it being just as much of a focal point for your dining room or kitchen without compromising on the stability or durability of the table itself. You will still find it more than capable of hosting dinner parties, the family during meal times and drinks with friends.
With each table top being hand crafted, we do as much as we can to maintain the natural grain of the wood, keep the warm aesthetic of the sustainably sourced wood but ensure that we make it as smooth as possible and given the best finish.
Each dining set has benches with matching style legs, so when these are sat next to each other or tucked under the table, they make the ideal pairing, completing the overall rustic and industrial chic look.
THE LEGS
Our steel frame table legs can be made in a variety of designs and sizes. Our standard box section measurements are 75mm x 25mm. All legs come in Satin Black as standard, however many other colours are available upon request (please contact us before ordering if you have any bespoke requests as we will endeavour to fulfil any requirements to give you your perfect product).
MEASUREMENTS
Standard measurements for our tables and benches are:
Table width - approx 88cm
Table height - approx 75cm
Bench width - approx 35cm
Bench height - approx 45cm
Wood thickness - approx 33mm
All benches are approximately 30cm shorter than the table to allow them to tuck underneath.

THE TIMBER
The timber we use for all of our furniture is FSC sustainably sourced kiln dried Scandinavian pine. The appearance of timber will vary from piece to piece, i.e., grain structure, knots, missing knots, checks, cracks, splits, machining marks etc. These marks are intentional, are part of the timber’s characteristics, and do not affect the structure.
THE FINISH
We finish our timber in Fiddes hard wax oil which is hard wearing, and water and stain resistant. The oil will react differently to each piece of timber meaning colours may vary. Colours will also vary slightly from items in our listings and can appear different under certain lighting. We recommend that you see colour samples before placing your order.

This is a natural wood product and is very different to wooden furniture that you will find in high street shops, which is usually made from engineered wood.
Engineered wood doesn’t react to its environment in the same way as natural timber. The timber we use may move as it reaches equilibrium with its environment. By this we mean the moisture content in this timber has got to SLOWLY match the moisture content in your house. (E.g., the moisture content in our workshop is 10%, and the moisture content in a centrally heated house is roughly 5%).
This may cause the timber to deflect marginally from being straight and square; all part of the charm of a natural wood product. For tips on how to slow down the equalisation process, and minimise its effects, please refer to our Care Guide.
Please allow up to 10mm in variation in length and width of our tables and benches.
